JESSIE 11 years young from the working side of the breed.

JESSIE is a lively  girl, 11 years young  and even the vets have remarked on how lively and interested she is in everything going on around her.  When she came into our care Jessie had a nasty looking lump on her lower back, about the size of a cricket ball. although this did not worry Jessie at all we were concerned to know what it was.  Jill took her to the vets and it was suggested that it woud be best to have it removed.  This has now been done very successfully, her stitches are out and we are so pleased to learn that it was nothing to worry about and totally non malignant.  Jessie is a small girl as all the ones from  the working side of the breed tend to be.  She is a happy girl, loves people and other dogs, not sure about cats.  Because we have little history about Jessie, except that she was tied up for the last two years ( perhaps there wasn't any secure fencing), we do not know whether she has ever lived with another dog so may be best as an only  dog. We are looking for a home for Jessie with people who are around most of the time, who have the time and the energy to walk her and look after her.  She will need a good sized and secure garden where she can chase the birds and the squirells and generally have a happy time.  She has a clean bill of health, all her vaccinations are up tp date as is her microchip details.  If you think that this nice girl would make a great addition to your family please phone Rescue on 01787 248143 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
